Dear Member,

This is my first message to our Gujarati Samaj as a President. I would like to thank you to the members of Gujarati Samaj of NSW for your kind support and participation in winning in the election of the Executive Committee for me and my whole executive team. I also thank the past executive committee for extending full support to our committee after the election process and timely handing over of all operational documents.

This is the time of generation change and leadership change in the community. The young brigade of Gujarati Samaj has taken the leadership of the society. At this hour we will be failing in our duty if we do not acknowledge the efforts of the pioneers and senior members who have tirelessly worked for the progress of our Samaj over years.

Please join me and congratulate the other young executive committee member Kalpesh Patel, Janak Patel, Satish Patel, Parth Joshi, Mrunal Barad, Binal Shah, Ashish Patel, Mitesh shah for being elected to serve the Samaj.

I am also pleased to inform you that Mahesh Trivedi is our new Public Officer for our Gujarati Samaj. Mahesh Trivedi is a well respected member of our Samaj and I thank him for coming forward to take up this role.
With total dedication and commitment of myself and the executive committee members we will keep the traditional approach of the Samaj live and will bring the new events where more and more people of “Gujju” community participate in the Samaj activities. We promise you our events and step will bring each age group of our Samaj closer to the Indian tradition, culture and society. We also need to serve the needs and issues of the larger Australian Indian community when required such as Indian student issues

I have a vision to serve the society in its best interest. Senior group, youth wing, children/kids group, Ladies wing, will be co-ordinated with the support of the experts of their each group and their activity. I will lead the membership campaign and active participation of the Samaj member in every event we organised. We will continue our support in the best possible manner to the dream project of Gujarati Samaj of NSW “The Building Project”

Members “United we conquer,” please participate and join us in achieving the milestone identity of the Gujarati Samaj of NSW in Australia.

I look forward to meeting you all during the forthcoming events as per the details to be announced in Gurjar next week.
